Honda Honored with Four Diversity Awards

Honda was honored with four awards at the first Diversity Volume Leadership Awards presented by the National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers (NAMAD) and IHS Automotive at the 2016 North American International Auto Show.
The Honda Accord and Honda CR-V were recognized for national sales leadership with women and ethnic Millennials in 2015. The Honda CR-V, America’s best-selling SUV, was named the “Top Women’s Vehicle” and the Honda Accord was named “Top Ethnic Millennial Vehicle.” The Honda Accord and Civic were also recognized as “Ethnic Volume Leaders” in the Mideast and Western regions, respectively.
Subaru Share the Love Event

Sierra Subaru announces its participation in the 2015 Share the Love program and selected Foothill Unity Center as their “hometown charity” to be added to the list of organizations that customers can select to receive a 2015 Subaru Share the Love donation.
Share the Love will run from November 19, 2015 to January 2, 2016 and allows Subaru retailers the opportunity to select charities operating in their community to be included in a list of organizations that new owners can select from to receive a $250 donation from Subaru of America (SOA). This year, Subaru hopes to donate up to $15 million. In the last seven years of this program, SOA has donated $50 million to a variety of national and local charities through the Share the Love campaign. The eighth-annual Share the Love program will deliver donations to the following four national charities:
Honda Exhibits World Premiere of CLARITY FUEL CELL

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. unveiled on October 31, 2015 the world premiere of the planned production model of its all-new fuel cell vehicle (FCV), CLARITY FUEL CELL, at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show 2015. This model will be on display at the Honda booth during the Tokyo Motor Show. (Press days: October 28-29, 2015 / Public days: October 30 – November 8, 2015).
The all-new CLARITY FUEL CELL fuses the ease of use of a gasoline-powered vehicle and values that are unique to a FCV at a high level. This fusion gives this sedan-type FCV high value and potential to set a benchmark for FCVs now and in the future.
2016 Honda Accord Sedan and Coupe Earn a 2015 TOP SAFETY PICK

The 2016 Honda Accord Sedan (automobiles.honda.com/accord-sedan/) and Coupe (automobiles.honda.com/accord-coupe/), named 29 times to Car and Driver magazine’s coveted “10Best” list, have received a 2015 TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) when equipped with optional front crash prevention from the Honda Sensing™ suite of driver assistive technologies.
This distinction includes a top rating of GOOD in five different IIHS crash test modes including a GOOD score in the IIHS’s stringent small overlap frontal crash test. The 2015 TOP SAFETY PICK+ designation is awarded to vehicles that also have an available front crash prevention system that earns a superior or advanced rating from the Institute. The 2016 Accord Sedan and Coupe offer available frontal crash prevention systems that earn a top rating of superior.
